What is Hynadin used for?

Hynadin is an eye lubricant used for treatment of keratoconjunctival injury associated with the following diseases: endogenous diseases such as Sjogren’s syndrome, Steven-Johnsons syndrome, dry eye syndrome, and exogenous diseases caused by surgery, drugs, trauma, contact lens wearing, and others.

How much and how often should Hynadin be used?

Usual dose is one drop at a time instilled to the eye, 5-6 times daily. The dosage may be adjusted according to severity of symptoms.

What are the possible side effects of Hynadin?

Hynadin may potentially cause hypersensitivity reactions (blepharitis, eyelid dermatitis), itchiness and eye irritation.

What does Hynadin contain?

Hynadin is sodium hyaluronate 1 mg/mL (0.1% w/v) ophthalmic solution (eye drops) available in LDPE plastic bottle x 6 mL in a box of 1’s.
