What is Sinedin used for?

Sinedin is an antiparkinson drug used for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.

How much and how often should Sinedin be taken?

Sinedin is taken at the usual starting dose of 1 tablet of 100 mg/25 mg of levodopa + carbidopa 3 times daily and increased as needed up to 8 tablets (2 tablets 4 times a day). If a higher dose of levodopa is required, 250 mg/25 mg of levodopa + carbidopa should be substituted for 100 mg/25 mg doses. If necessary, the 250 mg/25 mg dose may be increased to a maximum of 8 tablets daily. Maximum dose for carbidopa is 200 mg daily.

What are the possible side effects of Sinedin?

Sinedin may cause some gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, vomiting and anorexia. Heart related side effects are lowering of blood pressure and irregular heartbeat. Sinedin may also manifest with agitation, anxiety and with more serious side effects such as hallucinations and delusion.

What does Sinedin pack contain?

Sinedin is levodopa+ carbidopa 100 mg/25 mg available in blister pack of 10’s in a box of 100’s and 250 mg/25 mg tablet available in blister pack of 10’s in a box of 100’s.
