What is Abdin used for?

Abdin is an antipsychotic drug used for the treatment of schizophrenia.

How much and how often should Abdin be taken?

Abdin is taken at a starting dose of 10 mg/day, or 15 mg/day administered once daily. Dose may be increased to 30 mg/day as needed.

What are the possible side effects of Abdin?

Common side effects of Abdin are constipation, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, headache and insomnia. Less common side effects are increased heart rate and lower blood pressure. Extrapyramidal symptoms like akathisia and dyskinesia are uncommon.

What does Abdin pack contain?

Abdin is aripiprazole 5 mg tablet available in blister pack of 10’s in a box of 30’s and aripiprazole 10 mg tablet available in blister pack of 10’s in a box of 30’s.
