What is Glipdin used for?

Glipdin is used for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

How much and how often should Glipdin be taken?

The usual initial dose of Glipdin is 2.5 – 5 mg daily given as a single dose up to a maximum of 20 mg daily. Doses larger than 15 mg daily are given in two divided doses before meals.

What are the possible side effects of Glipdin?

Side effects of Glipdin are gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, anorexia, diarrhea, a metallic taste that is usually mild and dose-dependent, increased appetite, and weight gain.
